Women’s Soccer eyes second straight win against Furman on Sunday

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Oct. 12, 2024) – Fresh off a 3-0 win at Wofford on Thursday night, the ETSU women's soccer team eyes a second straight Southern Conference victory when the Buccaneers host Furman on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. at Summers-Taylor Stadium.

ABOUT THE BUCS
  • ETSU is 3-6-2 overall and 2-2-1 in SoCon play
  • The Bucs snapped a two-game slide with their 3-0 win at Wofford on Thursday night
  • Jada Cooper and Annabelle Ekern netted their first collegiate goals, while a header by Reagan Fitzgerald gave ETSU the 1-0 lead in the 34th minute
  • Ashton Blair notched her third shutout of the season and set the new ETSU all-time career record with her 14th clean sheet … Blair broke Jasmine Elliott's record of 13, set from 2013-16
