CLEMSON, S.C. (Jan. 19, 2024) – The ETSU women's tennis team battled but ultimately fell on the road at Clemson on Friday night, 4-3. With Friday's loss, the Bucs move to 0-2 on the spring season.
ETSU started off Friday's match by claiming its first doubles win of the season. The duo of
Alessandra Caceres and
Sofia Markova upended Clemson's No. 2 doubles team, 7-5. The Bucs also fared well in singles splitting the six matches.
Fernanda Carvajal improved to 2-0 on the season with a three-set win over Cristina Mayorova, 7-5, 4-6, 6-0.
Daniela Rivera and
Ralitsa Alexandrova also notched singles wins for ETSU against the Tigers.
