SPARTANBURG, S.C. (Nov. 8, 2023) – ETSU women's basketball player
Kendall Folley was named the Southern Conference Student-Athlete of the Week as the league office announced its weekly academic honor on Wednesday.
Folley scored 22 points on 9-of-14 shooting (4-of-4 at the free throw line) along with five rebounds, five assists and two steals in 32 minutes at Kentucky on Tuesday night. ETSU led for three quarters before being outscored by eight in the fourth quarter as the Wildcats rallied for a 74-66 win.
Folley led all players with those 22 points and was 8-of-10 from the field in the second half with 18 points scored. She also netted 12 of ETSU's 16 points in the fourth quarter where she was a perfect 5-of-5 from the field.
The Lebanon, Ohio native is majoring in psychology at ETSU and currently holds a 3.779 grade-point average. Furthermore, she was named to the SoCon Honor Roll last season.
