Bo Trivette HS

Prentice Trivette II

  • Title
    Counseling Intern

An East Tennessee native and veteran of the United States Marine Corps and the US Army Reserves, Bo brings a foundation of resilience and a Stoic, solution-oriented approach. A former athlete who experienced the shift after career-altering injuries understands the fundamental difficulties of "changing directions." This personal experience inspires his desire to assist student athletes in bridging the physical and psychological rehabilitation gap.

Bo is presently in his third year in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Master's program at ETSU, where he previously earned his B.B.A. In addition to his clinical training, he is pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Nature-based Therapy.

His comprehensive holistic approach, driven by his experiences as an athlete, coach, professional, and father of student-athletes, acknowledges the delicate balance required to maintain athletic performance and mental well-being. Bo uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), somatic practices, and nature-based approaches to help athletes find purpose beyond their sport and continue in the game for the long term.
