Mara Sindoni (she/her) is a fifth-year doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology PhD program at ETSU. She joined ETSU Athletics in July 2026 as a psychology extern with the Institute for Integrated Behavioral Health. Mara earned her bachelor’s degree from Hobart and William Smith College in 2019, double majoring in religious studies and psychology, and she recently completed her master’s degree in clinical psychology at ETSU.

Mara has several years of clinical experience and previously served as a clinician in the Gambling Clinic of East Tennessee and as a behavioral health consultant at Bristol Family Medicine. Her clinical and research interests include brief interventions for mental health concerns and increasing access to services by offering treatment in non-traditional settings or formats.
