Hudson Gibbs joined the ETSU coaching staff in early 2026 as an Offensive Quality Assistant.
Gibbs comes to Johnson City after playing for UCF from 2023-2025. A defensive back, Gibbs played in 13 career games for the Golden Knights, including three in 2025. He played in three games this past season against West Virginia, Texas Tech, and BYU.
In high school, Gibbs played at Winter Park High School in Winter Park, Florida. Made 46 tackles, six tackles for loss, three forced fumbles, one sack and one interception as senior linebacker in 2022. Credited with 71 tackles, four forced fumbles and one interception as a junior.
