Chynna Cerina is the Director of Student-Athlete Success, a role she has excelled in since her promotion in July 2023.
She began her career at East Tennessee State University (ETSU) in August 2017 as a Graduate Assistant in the Athletics Academic Department. In February 2019, she advanced to the position of Assistant Director of Academic Student Success, where she served until her recent promotion. In her current role, Chynna oversees academic support for a diverse range of sports, including Football, Baseball, Men’s and Women’s Tennis, Men’s and Women’s Golf, and Triathlon.
A proud two-time ETSU alum, Chynna earned her Bachelor of Science in Sport Management in 2017, followed by a Master of Science in Sport Management in 2019.
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Chynna is married to Michael Cerina. She enjoys working out with her colleagues, attending music festivals, spoiling her two dogs, and passionately supporting her student-athletes both on the field and in the classroom.
