Camille Blaylock was hired as the Associate Director for Athletic Communications at East Tennessee State in August 2026. Blaylock joins the Bucs after spending the nearly three years at Austin Peay State University.

Blaylock joined the Austin Peay staff in July 2023 as the department’s Athletics Communications Assistant. During her time in that role, she served as the main contact for various athletic programs including, but not limited to, women’s basketball, women's volleyball, and women’s golf. In that role she managed social media platforms and maintained the Austin Peay athletics website for her assigned sports. She also created game notes packages and coordinated with media personnel to help amplify the APSU athletic brand.
Prior to her time at Austin Peay, Blaylock was a collegiate golfer at Freed-Hardeman University where she also served as an Athletics Department Intern. In that intern role she aided the Sports Information Director with men’s and women’s golf team communications. Blaylock also wrote tournament previews and recaps for the athletics website, while also managing social media for the athletics department. As a golfer, she was named a 2023 Mid-South Conference Academic All-Conference honoree and a 2023 NAIA Daktronics Scholar-Athlete.
Blaylock, a Belden, Miss. native, is a 2023 graduate of Freed-Hardeman University with a Bachelor's degree in Communications and a 2026 graduate of Austin Peay State University with a Master's degree in Mass Media Communications.
