2020-21: Made six starts and eight appearances in her first season in the Blue and Gold…took three shots on the year…finished with her first collegiate point with her assist against VMI (3/7/21)…played in all but six minutes in the season opener against Marshall (2/13/21), recording one shot…recorded a shot and played in all 90 minutes in the win against UNCG (3/5/21)…averaged 75 minutes a game in her role as a defensive midfielder...named to the SoCon Honor Roll.

Prior to ETSU: Gilmer spent her first two collegiate years at SoCon rival Samford, fighting off an injury in her sophomore season to make seven appearances as a Bulldog. Prior to Samford, Gilmer played two seasons at Providence Academy (2014-15) and one at Science Hill High School (2017). She was Providence’s leading scorer and offensive MVP in the 2015 season while earning an NACA All-American title. Merrin earned first team All-District and All-Region honors while the Lady Toppers swept conference, district and region titles. As a member of the Samford side, she won the SoCon Regular Season title in both 2018 and 2019 with the Bulldogs while winning the SoCon Tournament in 2019.
