2019 (Junior): Earned a spot on the First Team All-SoCon … Named to the SoCon Honor Roll … Named to the SoCon Spring All-Academic Team … Awarded SoCon Player of the Week (Feb. 25) … Named to the Second Team Preseason All-SoCon … Played in and started all 51 games for the Blue & Gold … Had a breakout junior season in which she led the team in batting average (.323), runs (38), doubles (11), home runs (11), RBIs (43), total bases (94), slugging percentage (.606) and walks (22) … Finished second on the team in hits with 50 … Tore up the non-conference slate, batting .346 with seven doubles, seven home runs and 29 RBIs … Became just the second player in program history to record five base hits in a single game, doing so in a win over Siena (March 9) … Tied a program record in runs scored with four, doing so twice on the season … Finished second in the SoCon in runs scored and doubles, fourth in RBIs, total bases and slugging percentage and fifth in home runs … The Florida native’s .606 slugging percentage ranks fifth in program history, while her 11 home runs sits third and 43 RBIs ranks second in a single season … Tallied eight consecutive hits in eight consecutive at bats against Siena and Evansville (March 9-10) … Finished the year with 10 multi-hit games and hit safely in 33 games on the year … Registered 12 multi-RBI games, while tallying at least one RBI in 18 games … Concluded the campaign with 57 putouts in the hot corner and 89 assists, while posting a .961 fielding percentage.
2018 (Sophomore): Named to the 2018 SoCon Spring Academic All-Conference Team and SoCon Honor Roll … Started 44 games at third base for the Blue & Gold … Led the team in runs scored (26), doubles (9), hit by pitch (3) and total bases (59), while ranking second in home runs (5) … Totaled a team-leading nine multi-hit games and had four multi-RBI games … Hit a solo home run to help fuel the Bucs to an opening round win over Furman in the SoCon Tournament … Went 2-for-3 with a home run, three runs and three RBIs against Jackson State on March 9 … Combined for four hits and four runs scored in a doubleheader vs. Samford on March 25.
2017 (Freshman): Named to the 2017 SoCon Honor Roll … Earned SoCon All-Freshman Team honors, while being placed on the SoCon All-Tournament Team … Started in 47 games for the Blue & Gold during her rookie season … Went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs in her first collegiate game against North Carolina A&T on Feb. 10 … Totaled 38 hits, nine doubles, two home runs, 32 runs, 25 walks and 20 RBIs on the season … Led the team in hit by pitches (9), which tied a single season program record … Belted her first collegiate home run in the first game of the doubleheader against Furman on April 29, while her second long ball came in the SoCon Tournament in a win over Mercer on May 12 … Reached based in 10 straight games to end the season … Recorded 10 walks over a seven-game stretch from April 30-May 12 … Went 5-for-11 (.455) with a double, home runs, six runs, three walks, two hit by pitches and four RBIs in the SoCon Tournament … Went 1-for-3 with an RBI in the NCAA Tournament game vs. Notre Dame.
High School: Grupp comes to ETSU from Atlantic Coast High School where she played second base, shortstop and outfield, while winning three athletic letters … She helped the Stingrays win two conference titles, an Elite Eight appearance in 2014 and a 58-24 record during her high school career … During her junior season she was named Second Team All-State after leading the team with a .458 batting average, 38 runs scored, 22 stolen bases and 22 hits.
