2017 Season (Freshman): Named to the 2017 SoCon Honor Roll … Made collegiate debut on Feb. 10 vs. Gardner-Webb when she worked a pinch-hit walk … Made first collegiate start on Feb. 11 at Gardner-Webb and collected her first collegiate hit on Feb. 18 vs. Virginia … Totaled 21 hits with six doubles, two triples, 13 runs, 13 walks and 10 RBI in 35 games (32 starts) … Went 3-for-3 against Tennessee Tech on March 18, while driving in three runs against Radford on March 17 … Hit .457 (16-for-35) with four doubles, two triples, five runs and six RBI in a 12-game stretch from March 10-April 1 … Became the second Buccaneer in program history to hit two triples in one game (Presbyterian, March 29).

Prior to ETSU:  Giesick earned four softball letters, while playing at Liberty High School during her prep career...As a freshman, Giesick was named to First Team All-Conference along with taking home the Rookie of the Year honor...Was an All-Area pick as a sophomore and junior...During her prep career she hit .410 and had an on-base percentage of .467...She totaled 140 hits and drove in 90 RBI along with a .989 fielding percentage.

Personal:  Born May 23, 1998... daughter of Gabriel and Elizabeth Giesick... Majoring in psychology at ETSU.
