2024 Season (RS-Senior) - Thompson was one of ETSU's captains and started every game for the Bucs in 2024 at left guard...Thompson helped ETSU rush for 100 yards in 11 of 12 games this season, including a season-high 308 yards in a win at The Citadel in late September to go along with five outings that topped 200 yards...Thompson also led ETSU's offensive line to lead the SoCon in rushing yards (2,330) and rushing yards per game (194.2) marking the first time the Bucs have led the league in rushing in a season...Thompson also added blind side protection for an offensive line that allowed the fewest sacks in the conference (17).

Prior to ETSU - Transferring from Gardner-Webb where he played from 2019-23 and led the Runnin' Bulldogs to back-to-back conference titles...Two-time all-conference selection...Started 25 games the last two seasons...Started 13 games at center in 2022 where he held GWU rush for 2,323 yards...Started 12 games this season where the Runnin' Bulldogs averaged 174.1 rushing yards per game in conference play...Started nine games in 2021 – five at right guard and four at center...Started four games at right guard in the spring 2021 season...Redshirted the 2019 season...Played at Dorman (S.C.) High School for Coach Dave Gutshall...Second team all-area selection by the Spartanburg Herald-Journal in 2018...Graded out at 89 percent and registered 38 pancake blocks his senior season … Cleared a path for 3,169 rushing yard and 39 touchdowns in 2018.
