Kensington Dailey

  • Title
    Student Assistant

Kensington Dailey transitions from teammate to student manager for the 2020 season. Dailey will serve various managerial duties for the Bucs as well as assist Coach Neely in coaching infield and hitting.

Dailey sat out the 2019 campaign due an injury but she made her impact felt in the classroom for the Bucs, earning a spot on the Southern Conference Honor Roll.

Dailey arrived to Johnson City after lettering for three years for the University High School Lady Bucs under coach Keith Jeffers. With University High, Dailey batted .500-or-better all three seasons with a .576 on-base percentage. During her time at University High, the Johnson City native compiled 82 RBIs and 131 runs scored with four homeruns and only four strikeouts in 363 career plate appearances.

Dailey is a three-time All-Conference and All-Tournament honoree and was named 2017 TSCA All State and All Academic. Kensington played two years with Carolina Elite 16u and 18u Gold teams and one year with Atlanta Premier 18u Gold.

She is the daughter of Ron and Carrington Dailey and is majoring in accounting. Fun fact about Dailey, she is a Classically trained pianist and certified piano instructor through Royal Conservatory of Music.
