Played in 10 events in the 2023-24 season en route to posting one top-five and three top-20 finishes... Finished runner-up at the John A. Burns Intercollegiate where he fired an 8-under-par 208, while placing tied for 15th at the Pac-12 Championships and tied for 17th at the Arizona N.I.T. Following the runner-up showing at the John A. Burns Intercollegiate, Malik was tabbed Pac-12 Golfer of the Week... Fired an 8-under-par 64 in the opening round, which marked a career low and was the fourth-lowest round in relation to par in Arizona men's golf history... Totaled 11 rounds of par or better in 2023-24 and held the team's fifth-best scoring average... Won the 2023 Dutch Amateur Championship where he defeated former Buccaneer Jenson Forrester with a 72-hole score of 20-under-par 264... Rallied for the win with a final round 8-under 63, including birdying the final two holes to secure the one-shot victory.

Prior to Arizona: Was a member of the Junior German National Team that won the 2021 European Boys Team Championship... Turned in top-five finishes in top amateur tournaments including the German Amateur Championship, European U18 Individual Championship and Portuguese International Amateur Championship in 2021... Represented Germany in the Jacques Leglise Trophy as a member of the European Team that defeated Great Britain and Ireland in 2021
