About Devontavius: A prolific scorer at the junior college level with tremendous ball skills … very good in the open court and should thrive in the Bucs’ up-tempo system … very unselfish player and extremely competitive. 2016-17: Set career highs for rebounds (7) and assists (3), and scored nine points in the Bucs’ quarterfinal win over Mercer (3/4) in the SoCon Tournament ... netted an impressive 18 points in just 16 minutes of play in the win over Mercer (2/11), going 6-of-10 from the field, including a 4-of-5 effort from 3-point range ... scored 11 points (4-of-6 shooting) at Wofford (2/6) ... Collected career highs for points (19),  field goals (7), rebounds (5) and blocks (1) in the win over The Citadel (1/5) ... scored 17 points and collected then career bests for field goals (6), 3-pointers (5), assists (2) and minutes played (25) in the win over Savannah State (12/29) ... posted career highs for free throws made and attempted, going 6-of-6 at the line and grabbing two steals in the win over Morehead State (12/17) ... played a prominent role in the Bucs’ win over Mississippi State (12/14), collecting nine points against the Bulldogs ... scored 11 points off the bench and added a spark to the Bucs’ play in a win over Milwaukee (11/25) ... had his second straight strong performance in the win over Detroit Mercy (11/14), posting a career bests for points (18), field goals (6), 3-pointers (3), assists (2) and minutes (22) ... enjoyed a strong debut for the Bucs in the season opener versus Fordham (11/11), scoring 14 points in a winning effort. Prior to ETSU: Was a second team All-American last season for John A. Logan College, ranking 11th in the country in scoring with 21.6 points per game … was the Region 24 Player of the Year and was selected to participate in the 2016 NJCAA All-Star Game in Las Vegas after leading John A. Logan to a 24-8 record … shot 51 percent from the field, 39 percent from 3-point range, and 80 percent from the free throw line during the 2015-16 season … posted a 2-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio and collected a season high 36 points in a matchup with Lincoln Trail. He also hit a season high seven 3-pointers against Rend Lake, and finished the year with 71 makes from beyond the arc.
