2024 Season (RS-Sophomore) - In his first season with the Bucs, Johnson appeared in two games...Made his debut for the Blue & Gold on September 7 vs. UVA Wise...Johnson went 3-for-3 on pass attempts for 33 yards...Also appeared in a game at Wofford on October 26. 

Prior to ETSU - Johnson joins the Bucs after spending the last two seasons at Charlotte...In his lone season with the 49ers, Johnson appeared in one game (at USF)...In his appearance against the Bulls, Johnson went 3-for-6 for 67 yards, one touchdown and one interception...Also totaled nine rushing yards...Redshirted the 2022 season...At Tennessee High School in Bristol, Johnson was named the Offensive Player of the Year and guided the Vikings to an appearance in the TSSAA 5A state playoffs as a junior...Was also a member of the track & field team...Earned All-Conference distinction in both football and track & field...Father Steve played in the NFL for the New England Patriots and Dallas Cowboys.
