2024 Season (Sophomore) - In second and final season with the Bucs, Coney played in and started all 12 games at linebacker for the Blue and Gold...Coney led all Buccaneer defenders with 97 tackles and 12 tackles for loss in 2024...The Fairfield, Ohio native also registered five sacks, broke up six passes, forced two fumbles and added a quarterback hurry...His best game of the season came against Western Carolina where he totaled a season-high 17 tackles and 1.5 sacks...Also registered double-digit tackle totals against Furman (12) and Mercer (10)...Picked up sacks against UVA Wise, North Dakota State, Samford and Furman...Had a pair of pass breakups against NDSU and VMI...Forced fumbles against UVA Wise and Elon. 

2023 Season (Freshman) - Coney played in all 11 games for ETSU as a freshman in 2023...Finished the season with 47 tackles, two quarterback hurries one sack, and one pass breakup...Recorded a season-high seven total tackles in a victory over Carson-Newman in early September...Recorded half a sack at Jacksonville State on September 2 and in the season finale against The Citadel...Tallied multiple tackles in all 11 games.

Prior to ETSU - Multi-sport athlete at Fairfield High School...Lettered in football and basketball...Named team Defensive Player of the Year...Earned second team south Ohio district honors...First team Greater Miami Conference selection and second team all-city...Recorded 52 tackles in his junior season...Had offers from Army, Navy, Air Force and Bowling Green.
