2021 (Junior): Named to the SoCon All-Academic Team … Named to the Coaches Second Team All-SoCon … Appeared in 13 games for the Bucs with 11 starts on the campaign … Ranked third on the team in receptions (33) and in receiving yards (357) … Averaged 10.8 yards per catch and 27.5 receiving yards per game … Also finished the season with one touchdown, hauling in the lone touchdown against The Citadel (Oct. 9) … Hauled in a career-high seven receptions for 94 yards in ETSU’s thrilling win over Kennesaw State (Dec. 4) in the FCS playoffs … In the playoff game, Adkins caught the two-point conversion pass to give the Bucs the one-point victory … In the final two drives against the Owls, Adkins was responsible for five receptions for 71 yards … Earned a spot on the Preseason First Team All-SoCon.

2020 (Junior)*: Named to the SoCon Honor Roll, SoCon All-Academic Team and was awarded the Commissioner’s Medal … Tabbed to the FCS ADA Academic All-Star team … Named to the Coaches First Team All-SoCon … Awarded a spot on the First Team Preseason All-SoCon team … Appeared in all six games for ETSU, starting the final four games of the year … Capped off the season with 10 receptions for 101 yards, ranking fourth on the team in receiving yards and fifth in total receptions … Hauled in at least one reception in each of the final five games … Season-long reception of 22 yards in the win at The Citadel (March 20) … Posted a season-best performance in the finale at Mercer (April 10) with four receptions for 39 yards.

2019 (Sophomore): Named to the SoCon Honor Roll … Captured a spot on the 2019 Fall Academic All-Conference team…Named SoCon Coaches First Team All-Conference … Appeared and started in all 12 games for the Blue & Gold … Finished the season second on the team in total receptions (25), setting a new career high for receptions in a single season … Finished second on the team in receiving touchdowns with two and fourth on the team in receiving yards with 241 … Recorded one receiving touchdown in back-to-back games to start the season at Appalachian State (Aug. 31) and in the home opener against Shorter (Sept. 7) … Pulled down a career-high five receptions and 55 yards receiving against Samford.

2018 (Freshman): Named to the SoCon Honor Roll … Had a successful freshman campaign for the Bucs, appearing in all 12 games with two starts against Western Carolina (Oct. 27) and Jacksonville State (Nov. 24) … Finished the year with five catches for 50 yards and one touchdown … First collegiate reception came against Tennessee on Sept. 8, while season-long 24-yard catch happened in the homecoming win over Gardner-Webb (Oct. 6) … First collegiate touchdown fell against Western Carolina with a one-yard reception.

High School: Signed with the Bucs during the early December period … Lettered in football and baseball at Bearden High School … Three-time all-conference in football and one-year all-conference in baseball … Registered 76 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, six sacks (team high) and one fumble recovery his senior season … Had a career .354 batting average, while playing third base his sophomore and junior seasons on the varsity level.

Personal: Brother (Nick) plays baseball at Marshall, while his father (Greg) played football at Marshall and is currently on the football staff at South Carolina as an Offensive Line Coach.
