2025 Season (Junior) - Sumpter played in all 12 games for the Buccaneers in 2025...Saw time at both tackle spots for the Bucs during the season...Made his first career start on Mercer on September 27...Played a season-high 84 snaps in ETSU's rivalry road win at Western Carolina on November 15...Helped ETSU rush for over 200 yards on six occasions in 2025...Played over 20 snaps on offense for ETSU in eight of the 12 games in 2025. 

2024 Season (Sophomore) - Sumpter played in 10 of 12 games for ETSU in 2024...Mainly playing on special teams, Sumpter made his collegiate debut on September 14 vs. North Dakota State...Also appeared in the remaining nine games of the season. 

Prior to ETSU - Transferring from Charlotte, where he was a freshman in 2023...Did not play in any games in 2023...Attended Knightdale High School, where he was a four-year varsity player...Three-star recruit via Rivals.com and On3...Led Knightdale to the 2022 NCHSAA 4A Playoffs.
