2024 Season (Graduate) - Smith, a staple of the Buccaneer offensive line the last two seasons, helped lead the Blue and Gold to a bounce back season in 2024...With Smith at center for all 12 games, the Bucs ran for over 100 yards in 11 of those contests this fall, including a season-high 308 yards in the win at The Citadel in late September...ETSU also surpassed 200 yards five times and led the conference in both rushing yards (2,330) and rushing yards per game (194.2) at the end of the regular season...Smith's leadership on the Buccaneer front line also helped keep ETSU's quarterbacks upright as the Bucs allowed a SoCon-low 17 sacks in 12 games in 2024...Following the regular season, Smith not only earned All-SoCon First Team honors but also took home the Jacobs Blocking Award that goes to the league's top offensive lineman...On top of the SoCon honors, Smith was named a Second Team All-American by Stats Perform FCS and the Associated Press and was a Third Team All-American by Phil Steele. 

2023 Season (Senior) - In his first season with ETSU, Smith was a key cog in the offensive line...Smith played in and started all 11 games at center for the Bucs...Smith helped open holes for ETSU's running game that was arguably the strength of the 2023 team...The Bucs ran for over 100 yards in seven of the 11 games in 2023 and topped the 200-yard mark four times...One of those 200-plus yard rushing days came on November 4 vs. VMI where the Bucs ran for 286 yards and three scores...For his play all season long, Smith landed a spot on the All-SoCon Second Team. 

Prior to ETSU - Came to Johnson City after spending four seasons as a member of the Appalachian State football team...In 2022, Smith appeared in four games, playing against The Citadel, Robert Morris, Coastal Carolina and ODU … Contributed primarily at left guard and center …Season-high 33 snaps against Robert Morris, plus 18 snaps at left guard against Coastal Carolina...In 2021, Smith appeared in the final 12 games (two starts) … Part of a two-man rotation at left guard and made first career start at right guard against South Alabama … Had 23 knockdown blocks and allowed no sacks in 446 plays … With App State’s line being a semifinalist for the Joe Moore Award, helped Mountaineers allow only 1.2 sacks per game (tied for the 1th-best total nationally) and average 34.5 points a game (23rd-best nationally)...Played in three games in 2020 against Campbell, Arkansas State and Troy and redshirted during the 2019 season.
