Prior to ETSU

Transferred to ETSU from Tusculum College … Played high school ball at Sevier County High School – where he set school records in completion percentage (66.6), passing touchdowns (64), completions, and passing yards … Currently the school record holder in passing touchdowns … Helped guide Sevier County to four straight conference championships … Earned 6-A first team all-state honors in 2013, while being named IMAC Offensive MVP in 2012 … Was tabbed first team all-conference in 2011.
