Biography

2025 Season (Graduate) - Criswell played in eight games and made four starts for ETSU under center in 2025...In his debut as a Buc, Criswell completed five of eight passes for 34 yards and rushed for 46 more yards in ETSU's win over Murray State...Tossed for three touchdowns in road games at West Georgia and Western Carolina...In that game against Western Carolina, Criswell and fellow ETSU quarterback Jackson Byrd combined to throw six touchdowns, which was a new single-game school record...Criswell threw for a season-high 271 yards in that win over the Catamounts as well...His top rushing outing came on the road Furman where he ran the ball 15 times for 73 yards...Overall, Criswell finished the season 85-for-138 passing (61.59%) for 1,130 yards with nine touchdowns against two interceptions...Despite missing four games, Criswell finished fourth on the team with 277 rushing yards and he averaged 4.9 yards per carry. 

Prior to ETSU - Criswell comes to ETSU after playing at two power conference programs in North Carolina and Arkansas...His best season came last fall as UNC's starting quarterback...He completed 186 of 320 pass attempts for 2,459 yards and 15 touchdowns against six interceptions...He threw for a career-high 475 yards in a game vs. James Madison...For his college career, Criswell has appeared in 31 games, completed 221 of 378 passes (58.5%), totaled 19 touchdown passes, and ran for four more scores...Criswell was a four-star prospect, the No. 2 player in Arkansas and the nation’s 11th-ranked dual-threat quarterback in the 247Sports Composite coming out of high school...Ranked as the No. 2 player in the state and the nation’s 14th-ranked dual-threat quarterback according to Rivals...Tabbed as the state’s No. 2 player and the nation’s 11th-ranked dual-threat quarterback according to ESPN...A member of the ESPN300...Finished seventh at the Elite 11 Opening Finals...Passed for 5,925 yards and 58 TDs, while rushing for 2,568 yards and 41 TDs over his three-year prep career...Named Arkansas’ Gatorade Player of the Year as a senior...Was also an all-state and all-conference selection...Led Morrilton to an 8-5 record and a berth in the state semifinals...Threw for 2,869 yards and 27 TDs, while rushing for 1,282 yards and 24 scores...Tabbed preseason all-state by MaxPreps...Played in just five games as a junior due to injury but tallied 1,109 yards passing and 11 TDs to go along with 317 rushing yards and three TDs...Led Morrilton to a 9-4 record and a spot in the second round of the 5A state playoffs as a sophomore...Threw for 1,947 yards and 20 TDs, while rushing for 969 yards and 14 TDs.
