2025 Season (Redshirt) - Dowdell appeared in two games during the 2025 season for the Buccaneers...He made his college football debut on October 11 against VMI...He broke up one pass in that game...Dowdell also appeared in the game at Chattanooga a week later...Dowdell filled in on special teams for the Bucs that week and totaled five snaps of action against the Mocs. 

Prior to ETSU - Recorded 10 tackles (one for loss), broke up one pass, and blocked two kicks in a game in September...Named Class 7A Player of the Week thanks to that performance...Helped his team win the 7A Region 4 Championship in 2023...In his high school career, Dowdell racked up 103 tackles, 13 pass breakups, eight interceptions, blocked four field goals, forced five fumbles, and blocked one punt that resulted in a safety...Father Anthony Dowdell played football for Alabama from 1992 to 1996.
