Prior to ETSU: A transfer from Palm Beach State College where he was coached by Alex Morales … posted a 2-2 record as a sophomore with a 3.64 ERA … struck out 27 batters in 29.2 innings of work, including two saves … posted a 3.19 ERA in 2009 with a 4-1 record for the Panthers while finishing the season with a team best four saves after striking out 41 in 59.1 innings.
 
Personal: Born on October 31, 1988 … majoring in communications … son of Rainey and Victoria Rissman.
