Prior to ETSU: Lakes is an incoming freshman and is a two-sport athlete for ETSU...he plays linebacker for ETSU football and is an infielder/catcher for the baseball team...While at Loveland HS, Lakes posted a .394 batting average during his senior season along with a .452 on-base percentage...Lakes smacked one home run that season including eight doubles in 66 at-bats...During his junior year at Loveland, Lakes batted .398 with a .442 on-base percentage...He connected with seven extra-base hits including a pair of triples in 27 games played.
