Prior to ETSU: Played high school baseball at Farragut High School in Knoxville…Made 14 appearances and held a 1.38 ERA over 31 innings and struck out 45 batters…Helped lead Farragut to the state championship in 2019.  

Personal: Born on Nov. 11, 2001…from Johnson City., Son of Jeff and Melissa Birkholz…Plans to major in business.
