WOLCOTT, Colo. - East Tennessee State University women's golf team wrapped up the Golfweek Red Sky Classic on Wednesday at the Red Sky Golf Club.
East Tennessee State had a final-round 286, allowing them to finish the tournament with a two-under-par 862 to place 11th in a field that included seven top-35 teams, including the No. 2-ranked Southern California. The Bucs' two-under finish was the best tournament total by the program in two seasons.Â
Arisa Piyamanit led the way for the Buccaneers through the tournament, ending with a third-round even-par 72 to finish in a tie for 15th place with a seven-under 209. Piyamanit's 209 was her lowest career 54-hole event.Â
McKenzie Hauk finished the 54-hole event with a one-under-par 71. Hauk carded two birdies on the day to finish the tournament at an even-par 216 to end in a tie for 47th place. Hauk's 216 total was her lowest career 54-hole event.Â
Sophia Gambini had a two-over-par 74 in the final round to finish the tournament with a one-over-par 217 and tie for 51st place.Â
Aliezah Robinson shot an even-par 72 in the final round to end the event in a tie for 77th place with a 230 tournament total.Â
Elzbieta Aldana Leonardo had a final-round one-under-par 71, including three birdies. The freshman finished in a tie for 98th place with a 14-over-par 230 54-hole total.
Individually,
Francisca Moritz had a final-round four-over-par 76 to finish in a tie for 77th place with a seven-over-par 223.Â
