CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (Sept. 10, 2026) – The ETSU football team will kick off the road portion of the 2026 schedule this Saturday when it visits North Carolina for a clash with Bill Belichick's Tar Heels.      
 
No. 1 – Kickoff - Saturday's game will kickoff at 12:02 p.m. ET at Kenan Memorial Stadium.    
 
No. 2 – Broadcast Information - The Buccaneer Sports Network (BSN) will provide ETSU fans with complete pregame, in-game and postgame coverage on the Bucs' flagship station WXSM-AM 640 and those with HD radio can listen on 101.5 WQUT HD-2. Click here for live audio.    
 
BSN begins its pregame programming one hour and 30 minutes prior to kickoff with the 30-minute Tennessee Lottery Tailgate Show, followed by the Pregame Show presented by Lafayette Heat & Air, which will lead up to 30 minutes prior to kickoff. The Appalachian Orthopedic Countdown to Kickoff will then lead into the final moments before kickoff.         
 
The broadcast team of "Voice of the Bucs" Jay Sandos, former ETSU quarterback Matt Wilhjelm (analyst), and sideline reporter Robert Harper will provide ETSU fans with all the information they need to complement their game-day activities. 
    
At halftime, the crew will host the Hometown Plumbing Halftime Show, while fans can tune into the Mullican Flooring Post Game Show for a full wrap-up, with game statistics, players and coach interviews, and other post-game information.     
 
Saturday's game will also be broadcast on the ACC Network with the commentary team of Roxy Bernstein, Dave Clawson, and Madison Hock.
 
Fans looking to watch online through the ESPN app must log in with a cable subscription or an ESPN Unlimited plan. The ACC Network is not available on the ESPN+/ESPN Select plan. 
 
No. 3 – Gameday Information - Directions to Kenan Memorial Stadium, parking information, and tailgating policies can be found HERE.    
 
No. 4 – Watch Party at Johnny Brusco's Pizza – Saturday's game between the Tar Heels and Bucs is in Chapel Hill. However, if you can't make the trip, Johnny Brusco's Pizza has you covered, as the Johnson City location will have the game on. Come and enjoy ETSU football facing an ACC foe with cheap drinks and food!  
 
No. 5 – Pregame Tailgate in Chapel Hill - A pregame tailgate will be hosted by the ETSU National Alumni Association, the ETSU Foundation President's Circle before ETSU takes on the Tar Heels on Saturday, September 12, on the lawn of Chapman Hall, 205 S. Columbia St. The event will begin at 9 a.m. Kickoff is at 12:00 p.m.
