JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Aug. 14, 2026) – ETSU Athletics has announced its promotional schedule for the 2026 football season, highlighted by the annual Meet the Team event on Saturday, Aug. 22, at William B. Greene Jr. Stadium and a full slate of themed game days throughout the fall.

The free Meet the Team event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is open to Buccaneer fans of all ages.

Fans will have the opportunity to meet the 2026 ETSU football team, collect autographs from players and pick up official 2026 schedule posters and pocket schedule cards. Interactive activities will also be available throughout the stadium, including field goal kicking, passing drills and other football skill stations.

Courtesy of Pepsi, attendees will also have the chance to win several prizes throughout the event, including a PlayStation 5, Beats headphones, a full-size ETSU football helmet and a game-worn ETSU football jersey.

In the event of inclement weather, Meet the Team will be relocated to the Ballad Health Athletic Center (ETSU Mini-Dome).

Following Meet the Team, the Buccaneers will open the home portion of their schedule on Saturday, Aug. 29, against Campbell with a White Out and a variety of promotions throughout the season.

• White Out game as fans are encouraged to wear white.
• Hand fans courtesy of the ETSU College of Public Health will be distributed to the first 5,000 fans.

Niswonger Children's Hospital Day
As part of a season-long partnership between Niswonger Children's Hospital and ETSU Athletics, the Buccaneers will wear special helmet decals designed by Niswonger Children's Hospital patients. Additional in-game activations celebrating the partnership will take place throughout the day.

Saturday, Sept. 19 – West Georgia | Noon

Scouts Day

Blue Ridge Border Battle • Gold Out • Family Weekend • Faith Day
Fans are encouraged to wear gold as the Buccaneers renew the Blue Ridge Border Battle with Western Carolina. Members of local churches and religious organizations can receive a special single-game ticket offer by contacting the ETSU Athletics Ticket Office.

Saturday, Oct. 3 – Chattanooga | 3:30 p.m.

The Rail Rivalry • Founders Week • Educators Day • Youth Sports Day
Fans are encouraged to wear blue for The Rail Rivalry against Chattanooga. Regional educators and local youth sports organizations can receive a special single-game ticket offer through the ETSU Athletics Ticket Office.

Saturday, Oct. 31 – Tennessee Tech | 3:30 p.m.

Homecoming • Spooky Saturday • Football Alumni Day

• The first 1,000 fans will receive a Bucky Jersey Series Bobblehead, courtesy of BrightRidge. The collectible is the first in a three-year series.
• Homecoming festivities return to William B. Greene Jr. Stadium.
• Halloween-themed promotions will be featured throughout the day, and tailgaters are encouraged to offer trick-or-treating opportunities.
• The ETSU National Alumni Association will host a special event for football alumni.

Saturday, Nov. 7 – Samford | 1 p.m.

Military Appreciation Day • Senior Day
ETSU will honor members of the military while recognizing the Buccaneer senior class in the final home game of the regular season.
