JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (July 29, 2026) – The ETSU football team held its first official practice of the 2026 season on Wednesday morning at Bank of Tennessee Field at William B. Greene Jr. Stadium.
"I like our team and I like where we are as we begin fall camp," said ETSU Head Football Coach
Will Healy. "I thought we were crisp and executed well today. Obviously, that was nice to see, and I think it's attributed to the work that our guys put in during the summer. We have a long way to go but I'm pleased with where we are."
The Bucs, who went 7-5 last season and 5-3 in SoCon play, were picked to finish third in the conference by the league's coaches earlier this month as a part of the league's media day. ETSU also paced all SoCon squads with nine Preseason All-League honorees in
Jason Albritton (First Team),
Will McCraw (First Team),
Charlie Browder (First Team),
Brenden LeBlanc (First Team),
Mike Jenkins (First Team),
Ewan Johnson (First Team),
Dre Delinois (Second Team),
Jivon Oggs (Second Team), and
Brock Winstead (Second Team).
ETSU will kick off the 2026 season at home on August 29 when it hosts Campbell at Greene Stadium. Kickoff between the Bucs and Camels is set for 5:30 p.m.
