JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (July 15, 2026) – Fans will have their first opportunity to see the 2026-27 ETSU men's and women's basketball teams on the court when the Buccaneers host an Open Practice on Thursday, July 23, at 6 p.m. inside Brooks Gym.

The free event gives fans a behind-the-scenes look at both programs as they prepare for the upcoming season. The evening will feature open practice sessions for the men's and women's teams, followed by an opportunity for fans to meet the student-athletes and collect autographs.

All attendees will receive free pizza while supplies last, and there will be giveaways at the event.

The ETSU men's basketball team enters the 2026-27 campaign after capturing the 2025-26 Southern Conference regular-season championship and advancing to the SoCon Tournament championship game. The ETSU women's basketball team also returns after winning the 2025-26 Southern Conference regular-season title.

Fans of all ages are encouraged to attend and help kick off the upcoming basketball season with an evening of basketball, food, and family-friendly fun.
