SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The Southern Conference announced the final round of the 2026 weekly awards on Monday afternoon.  Sophomore pitcher Eden Muncy was selected as the SoCon Pitcher of the Week, securing her first collegiate award with the honor.

Muncy, a Duffield, Va. native, collected two wins on the mound last week by way of two complete games in her two appearances. Muncy threw for 14.0 IP as the team leader in time on the mound last week. She limited opponents to just seven hits and four total runs, just three of them earned. Muncy boasted five strikeouts and a 0.93 WHIP, limiting opponents to a .143 batting average through her 14 innings on the mound. She wrapped her weekly appearances with a 1.50 ERA.
