JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (April 11, 2026) – The ETSU women's tennis team wrapped up its regular season with a 6-1 loss to Furman on Saturday. Saturday's loss moves ETSU's overall record to 13-7 overall and 6-1 in conference play.
 
ETSU and Furman split the first two doubles matches on Saturday. Julia Millan and Ksenija Rage picked up the win for ETSU, 6-2. ETSU's Alessandra Caceres and Mariangel Estrella pushed Furman's Elle Warren and Lillie Murphy, who were ranked No. 44 in the ITA's National Doubles Rankings, to extra points before Warren and Murphy won the contest, 7-5.
 
Looking to add to their 1-0 lead, the Paladins won five of the six singles matches. Estrella tallied ETSU's lone win in singles, which was in three sets (4-6, 6-0, 6-2).

With Saturday's loss, the Bucs will be the No. 2 seed for next week's SoCon Women's Tennis Tournament in Chattanooga. ETSU will face either Mercer or UNC Greensboro in the Quarterfinals on Thursday. First serve for that match is set for 10:30 a.m. on Thursday morning.
