MACON, Ga. (March 26, 2026) – The ETSU women's tennis team snapped a three-match losing skid on Thursday afternoon with a 5-2 win on the road at Mercer. With Thursday's victory, the Buccaneers improve to 11-5 overall and remain unbeaten in Southern Conference (SoCon) play at 4-0.
ETSU started fast on Thursday winning the first three points of the match. The Blue and Gold earned the doubles point thanks to victories from the pairings of
Niyati Kukreti/
Audelie Lesauvage and
Julia Millan/
Ksenija Rage.
Mariangel Estrella (6-0, 6-0) and Lesauvage (6-0, 6-4) quickly won their respective singles contests to give control of the match to the Bucs.
Kukreti would clinch the match for the Bucs with her 6-0, 2-6, 6-0 win in the No. 5 singles slot.
Alessandra Caceres also tallied a win in singles (6-2, 7-6 (7-4) after ETSU already clinched the match on Thursday.
