ITA WOMEN'S NATIONAL RANKINGS
TEMPE, Ariz. (March 10, 2026) – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) unveiled its weekly National Rankings on Tuesday and both of the ETSU tennis teams made the cut. The men's team checked in at No. 68 this week, while the women's team came in at No. 75.
Overall, the ETSU men's and women's tennis teams boast a record of 19-5 in 2026 with all five losses coming against teams from the SEC or ACC. ETSU is one of 15 institutions outside of the power conferences that have both its men's and women's teams nationally ranked this week. Finally, the Bucs join Tennessee and Vanderbilt as the only teams in the state of Tennessee that have their men's and women's programs appear in the national rankings this week.
The men's squad, which is 10-3 this spring, will open its conference schedule tomorrow when it hosts UNC Greensboro at 2 p.m. The women's team, now 9-2 after wins over Liberty and Memphis over the weekend, will also be home for its next match when it welcomes Wofford to Johnson City on Friday. That contest is also set for a 2 p.m. start time.
