WESTCHESTER, Ill. - East Tennessee State men's golf saw three individuals with tremendous performances at the inaugural Highlands Invitational hosted by Turtleson.

The men's team finish second overall to notable program Wake Forest.  The regular season result was the best for the Bucs since the 2023 season where the squad collected two tournament wins and two runner-up finishes.

Senior Yannick Malik and sophomore Gavin Tiernan opened the invitational with their top marks of the week, with Malik sitting at second overall through the first round (-7) and Tiernan at fifth overall (-5).  The pair paced each other through the final rounds of play to finish tied for sixth.

Freshman Oli Blackadder posted the best round of collegiate action thus far, boasting an -4 round three to finish third overall and record the best round by an ETSU freshman through the program's first two tournaments.  Blackadder tied the program's leadership for a sixth-place finish.

Ben Oberholzer, the sophomore, recorded the fourth best result of the week, scoring three under in the final round of the tournament for his best appearance in the 2025-26 season so far.
