DAVIDSON, N.C. - East Tennessee State women's triathlon competed in their second outing of the season at the Lake Davidson Sprint Triathlon Collegiate Cup on Sunday morning.
The Bucs finished third overall as a team with 320 points while
Julia Visgueiro captured the individual title at the event in 57:31.11.
The course consisted of a 750 meter swim, 12.7 mile bike ride and a 5k run through Trane Technologies property on Lake Davidson.
NOTABLES
- In her 2024 appearance at the event, Visgueiro finished second overall with a result of 58:22 to see an improvement to first overall in 2025 with a 51 second improvement. Â
- Taylor Walker boasted a 34 second improvement in her 5k time, completing that portion of the triathlon in 18:40.
