RENO, Nev. (May 12, 2025) – Adverse weather conditions forced the delay and eventual suspension of play for ETSU men's golf at the NCAA Reno Regional at Montreux Golf & Country Club. The initial tee times were abandoned due to high winds in favor of a 4:00 pm local time shotgun start, and play was suspended for the night two hours later.
At the time of suspension, the Bucs were tied for ninth at 5-over par through seven holes. Gavin Tiernan led ETSU at 1-over par, four shots off the lead in 12th. Yannick Malik and Ben Carberry were both 2-over at the suspension of play, and Joshua Pritchett and Kristian Bressum were both 4-over.
Mississippi State and San Diego are tied for the team lead at 3-over par, and San Diego's Ian Maspat leads the individual standings at 3-under, one of six players below par on day one. Action will resume tomorrow morning.
