AUGUSTA, Ga. (Apr. 6, 2025) - With the SoCon Championship on the horizon, Yannick Malik is finding his best form at the right time.
The German shot a 1-over 73 on the final day of the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational to finish seventh, his highest finish of the season, his second consecutive top ten and third in five events this spring. He was tied for the second-lowest scoring average on par-4s at 3.83 and 5-under par.
Gavin Tiernan shot an even-par 72 to finish the tournament tied for 15th, matching his lowest 54-hole score of the season at 214 two weeks after he set the mark at The Hootie at Bulls Bay.
Kristian Bressum shot an even-par 72 for the second consecutive round to finish 3-over for the tournament, tying for the lowest scoring average on par-3s in the field with a 2.75 average and four birdies. Joshua Pritchett was 1-over on the final day to finish the tournament 10-over par, and Ben Carberry shot a 6-over 78 to finish 12-over par.
As a team, ETSU finished one-over par to come home ninth, one stroke behind Furman and fourteen strokes ahead of hosts Augusta University.
