GREENSBORO, Ga. (Feb. 21, 2025) – East Tennessee State University women's golf began the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational on Friday.
Sophomore
Brianna Castaldi had the best individual score by a Buccaneer, shooting 3-over at the difficult course to tie for 12th heading to Day 2. Only four golfers of the 85 competing shot even or under par, led by Macie Burcham (East Carolina) and Catie Craig (Western Kentucky) at 1-under.
Senior
Alex Crafton and redshirt sophomore
Sydney Harz both posted 8-over rounds for ETSU, which concluded Day 1 in 14th as a team, but just three strokes back of the top 10. Florida sits in first after one round at 11-over, followed by host Mercer at 13-over and Western Kentucky at 14-over.
