TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (Feb. 14, 2025) – The ETSU women's tennis team won three matches against Alabama on Friday in non-conference action, but the Crimson Tide ultimately came away with the 5-2 win over the Bucs. Friday's loss moves ETSU's record to 2-4 on the season.
In doubles action, the Bucs dropped the first of three tilts, but the tandem of
Daniela Rivera and
Alessandra Caceres continue to play well for the Blue and Gold as they secured a 6-2 win out of the No. 1 position. Unfortunately, the Crimson Tide won the other doubles contest to secure the doubles point for the match.
ETSU's two victories in singles came from two of its younger players. First,
Ksenija Rage improved to 5-1 this spring with a 6-1, 6-4 win over Priya Nelson.
Julia Millan notched her fourth win of the spring with a thrilling three-set victory over Margaux Maquet.
