ETSU notches podium finish at AGCP Invitational

Hauk surges to finish 10th individually

PALM CITY, Fla. (Feb. 11, 2025) – East Tennessee State University women's golf used a surge from freshman transfer McKenzie Hauk to finish third at the ACGP/UNCG Invitational on Tuesday.

Hauk shot a Day 3-best 5-under round, with five birdies and no bogeys to jump 28 places to No. 10 overall. Sophomore Brianna Castaldi tied her teammate for 10th after carding a 2-over on Tuesday and redshirt sophomore Syndey Harz had the best round of her season, finishing 1-under for the day. Senior Alex Crafton closed ETSU out with a 5-over round and finished 18th individually.

Virginia Tech won the team competition at 22-under across the three day invitational. Arkansas State finished second at 14-over, and the Bucs rounded out the podium at 17-over. It marks ETSU's best team finish of the season and since the Buccaneers won the 2024 SoCon championship.

Valentine Delon (VT) won the individual competition with a three-day score of 8-under, followed by another Hokie, Morgan Ketchum, who finished 6-under, and Arkansas State's Ashley Kim (Arkansas State), who closed out the top 3 at 3-under.

Next, ETSU will head to the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational from Feb. 21-23.
