Yannick Malik was selected as the Men's Golfer of the Week for the first weekly award for ETSU this season.
Yannick Malik finished T18th overall at the Ka'anapali Classic, boosting the team to a ninth place finish among the nation's best golf programs. He finished tied for 11th overall in pars with 36 and carded one-under or lower in each round (Rd. 1 - 70(-1), Rd. 2 - 65(-6), Rd. 3 - 69(-2)). He's the first member of the squad to shoot under par in all three rounds of a tournament so far in the 2025-26 season. He completed the tournament with a full score of 204(-9) for the best overall finish of a Buc this season, downing the previous best, also held by Malik, of 211(-5) at the Highlands Invitational.
Malik and the rest of the men's golf team return to action in Febuary to kick off the spring slate of competition at the Battle of Briar's Creek in Johns Island, S.C. over Feb. 2-3.
