JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - Men's golf head coach Aaron O'Callaghan announced the signing of Mikkel Blum to the 2026-27 roster on _______ morning.

Mikkel spent  two years as a member of the Danish National Youth Team and currently holds a roster spot on the Danish National Men's Team. He participated in the European Boys Team Championships in 2024 and 2025 and was the winner of 2024 Troia Championship and winner of the 2023 Meny Open.  Blum finished the Danish National Boys Championship as the runner-up.  He holds a 2025 scoring average of 1.6 under-par adjusted.  Outside of golf, Blum played soccer at a high level before switching to golf and he lived in Dubai for his childhood and he enjoys skiing and padle tennis.

Mikkel, the son of Esben and Pia Blum, has one sibling, Emil, who plays professional golf, and plans to major in business with a minor in psychology.
