SPARTANBURG, S.C. (Nov. 17, 2025) – The Southern Conference announced that ETSU's
Jackson Crosby was named the Conference's Special Teams Player of the Week on Monday afternoon. It is the third weekly award that a Buccaneer has earned this season joining
Devontae Houston (Offensive Player of the Week) and
Xavier Gaillardetz (Special Teams Player of the Week).
Crosby came through with one of the biggest plays of the day for the Bucs as they knocked off No. 25 Western Carolina on Saturday. Crosby broke through the WCU offensive line to block a punt. That block, which was ETSU's third of the season, set ETSU up with excellent field position (WCU's five-yard line) as the fourth quarter began. ETSU then scored a touchdown shortly after that to grow its lead from three to 10 (45-35).
Crosby and the rest of the Buccaneers will return to action this Saturday when they host The Citadel in their regular season finale. Kickoff for that game is set for 1 p.m.
