HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (Nov. 14, 2025) - The ETSU men's cross country team wrapped its 2025 season at the NCAA South Regional in Huntsville, Alabama, on Friday, finishing 24th.
Jason Bowers did not finish the 10k race, retiring before the halfway mark after running third at the 4k split with a 17:49.12. William Hartig was ETSU's top finisher in 116th with a 32:34.93. Nolan Pedota ran a 32:56.13, followed by Nate Hillis with a 33:20.66 and Hayden Waleski with a 33:34.68. Wesley Luisi was the fifth scorer for the Bucs with a 34:14.32, and Ben Kenner finished the course in 34:33.20.
Alabama and Ole Miss secured the automatic qualification spots for the 2025 NCAA Men's Cross Country Championships in Columbia, Missouri, next Saturday. Florida's Kelvin Cheruiyot won the race with a 29:09.05, two seconds ahead of Alabama's Dismus Lokira.
