CLINTON, S.C. (Jan. 28, 2025) – The ETSU men's tennis team will return to action on Wednesday when it visits Presbyterian for a non-conference matchup. First serve between the Buccaneers and Blue Hose is set for 1 p.m.
ETSU enters Wednesday's clash with PC sporting a 0-2 record so far this spring. The Bucs' two losses came against Clemson (6-1) and No. 4 Wake Forest (7-0).
Francisco Lamas accounted for ETSU's point against the Tigers winning his match out of No. 4 singles by scores of 6-4, 6-4.
Presbyterian, meanwhile, is also looking for its first win of the spring season. PC has dropped contests to Kennesaw State (6-1) and Georgia (7-0) so far in 2025.
Wednesday's match will begin a three-match swing through the Big South for the Bucs. ETSU will host UNC Asheville on February 12 and then travel to take on Gardner-Webb on February 18. The Bucs and Blue Hose have met just one time previously and that was in 2022 when ETSU notched a 6-1 win over PC at the Bristol Racquet Club.
