Bressum continues to pace Bucs at Visit Knoxville Intercollegiate

LOUDON, Tenn. (Sept. 7, 2024) – ETSU newcomer Kristian Bressum continued to pace the ETSU men's golf team as the Buccaneers concluded second round play at the Visit Knoxville Intercollegiate on Saturday from Tennessee National Golf Club.
 
Bressum, who transferred to ETSU from St. Mary's this past summer, is tied for 21st at 1-under-par 139. The Randers, Denmark native carded a 1-under 69 on Saturday and sits eight shots back of the individual leader.
 
LSU's' Algot Kleen took over the 36-hole lead at 9-under-par 131 following a 5-under 65 on Saturday. Kleen has a one-stroke advantage over Ole Miss' Cameron Tankersley and a two-shot lead over teammate Matty Dodd-Berry.
 
Ole Miss holds the team lead as the 13th-ranked Rebels posted a 13-under 267 in round two and are at 24-under-par 536, which leads LSU by one shot. Tournament host and seventh-ranked Tennessee is in third place at 10-under-par 550.
 
The Bucs are tied for 14th at 24-over-par 584.
 
ETSU begins Sunday's final round at 7:40 a.m.
