COLUMBUS, Ga. (May 17, 2024) – ETSU's
Mats Ege was named a finalist for the 2023-24 Haskins Award presented by Stifel, which was announced on Friday by The Haskins Foundation.
Ege, a two-time Southern Conference Player of the Year, has totaled three wins, seven top-five finishes and nine top-10 finishes in 12 tournaments played this season. Ege won the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate, Wake Forest Invitational and the SoCon Championship.
This season, Ege has generated a scoring average of 68.86, while he has registered 30 sub-par rounds in 36 rounds played. Overall, Ege, who ranked No. 10 in the PGA Tour University Rankings, has played the 36 rounds at 87-under-par.

Celebrating its 54th year, the Fred Haskins Award presented by Stifel is annually given to the top male U.S. collegiate golfer as voted on by only college golfers, coaches and members of the golf media.
