CHARLESTON, S.C. (April 9, 2024) – The ETSU men's tennis team will close out its regular season on Wednesday when it visits The Citadel in Southern Conference action. First serve between the Buccaneers and Bulldogs is set for 3 p.m.

ETSU has been playing arguably its best tennis of the season recently. The Bucs have won five straight matches entering Wednesday's match. Additionally, the Bucs are 6-0 in SoCon play this season so with a win on Wednesday will clinch a SoCon Regular Season Championship for ETSU.

The Citadel enters Wednesday's match with a 7-20 record overall and a 1-5 in SoCon play. Its SoCon victory came against UNC Greensboro in early March. The Bulldogs have lost four straight matches.

The Buccaneers have held a definite edge against the Bulldogs over the years with an all-time record of 35-3. ETSU has defeated The Citadel 31 straight times dating back to 1990. The Bulldogs' three wins against the Bucs came in 1983, 1987 and 1989.
